Elephant Haus was born out of a long-standing relationship with the design ethos and esthetic of northern Thailand, with a deep respect for an enduring combination of art and nature that doesn’t subscribe to the fad of the moment, but rather creates an atmosphere that transcends trendiness.
Our products are not mass-produced in faceless factories, but individually hand-crafted in a small, family-owned factory and backyard workshops in northern Thailand. When you purchase our ceramics and other items, you are directly supporting the village artisans and craftsmen who make them. These ceramics and wood carvings are as authentic as the people who craft them.

Our stoneware products are hand-crafted and individually finished, resulting in a high level of quality while also ensuring that every item reflects the unique touch of the artisan who produced it. The design ethic followed creates containers that enhance the flowers or plants that will go in them instead of overwhelming them.

Our classic line includes a broad range of shapes and designs to cater to a broad range of tastes, yet maintaining a family relationship in which the designs complement each other and whatever is placed in the container. Due to the nature of our relationship with the manufacturer we are able to offer a high level of customization on a pre-order basis, i.e., if a certain design stands out we are able to tailor your order to exactly the designs you prefer.
